Being made of 100% hemlock wood, this is about as solid as it gets. It weighs in at about 250 pounds in all. This is quality lumber and once you assemble it, this sauna is solid and strong. Not to mention beautiful.

I was really impressed by how easily the whole thing was assembled. It has a “tools free” design where you simply click the panels together. This is important because it also allows you to take it apart easily if you ever need to move it.
